My health journey

Hello My Lovely Readers!

Today I wanted to talk about (as you can see from the tittle) about my health journey. In my recent post which was about a fitness guide named Fitazfk that I will talk about my health journey. So I don’t waste more time rambling. Here it is.

It all started when I realized how much weight I have gained in the summer. I don’t say that I was fat or anything but I was not lean like I used to. And that was not the biggest problem. I just haven’t felt healthy. I was not going to the gym nor ate properly. I consumed junk food (not a lot but I definitely went to McDonald’s a few times) and I just haven’t felt energized. I sat home watching TV, binge eating and not exercising. And that was such a relapse for me. I was sad and I felt like a completely different person than I used to.

So I told myself ‘Stop and get yourself together’ (a couple of times) and I finally started to make some effort for my goal. My goal was to step on the path where I used to be and nothing more.

So as a normal person I jumped on Pinterest and started looking for fitness plans. I wanted a plan because I like it more when a guide or a trainer tell me what to do because if I have to do all by myself than there won’t be any progress. After a long period of searching I finally found an affordable guide which I thought will help me. (I wrote a detailed review with my own experiences you can check it out here.) So I started doing it. Besides one or two problem I enjoyed doing something for my health. Finally. I started eating more healthy and exercising daily. I must admit it felt good. But it was real hard to get back on track. And sadly it was easy to get off this path.

It started with a family holiday in a 4* hotel. I think everyone can guess what happened next. Yes like a completely ordinary person I could not resist to eat cake, pasta some more cake and everything else which was not in the diet plan. And the truth is that I ate because there was a big variety where I could choose anything and of course I chose everything. Even if I was full and when my body did not need it at all.

And after we got home I was so despite. I didn’t know what to do now because a screw up everything.

But then I was like ‘I can’t do this anymore’ so I dedicated my time thinking what should I change why doesn’t it work. I started to do grocery shopping differently. I only bought vegetables, eggs, meat, fruits and nuts. My diet started getting better and better. I started doing exercises daily again. Finally I went back to the gym I used to go again or if I was not feeling going to the gym I searched tabata or HIIT workout on Youtube and after that I did some strengthening exercises for my abs and arms.

(I have some favorite Youtube workout videos if you curious write in the comments and I more than happy to share it.)

And I’m almost forget one of the great things which helped me to eat healthy. I never thought I would say this but calorie counting. Or something like that. Don’t get me wrong I don’t say it’s a bad thing I just never thought I would try it. Okay I’m not doing it like a pro and not that strict at all. I downloaded an app where you can write in if you want to lose weight, keep your weight and just simply eat healthy or gain weight and muscles. After that it gives you how many calories should you eat and that is it. You can choose and write in your meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner and as a snack. You can see how many carbs, fat and protein did you ate that day. You can count how many glasses of water did you drink. And you can also dial in if you did any exercises. I’m really loving this app because it gives me a picture of how much should I eat. I learned how many calories are in different meals, snakcs and that makes it easy to choose what will I eat. Because if a meal is full with fat which I don’t need than I won’t eat it. Finally I understood what it feels like when people say “you are what you eat”. And please don’t think that I starve myself or I don’t eat anything sugary or sweet and I just have vegetables all the time. Belive me I eat f. ex. ice cream. A lot. Because I eat so much healthy food there is always left some place for some ice cream. And just yesterday I ate paleo cookies for the first time in my life. I didn’t thought it will be horrible but I would never dreamed that I will like it so much.

Now I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been and I’m not kidding. I’m now on holiday again for a few days and we eat out every day in restaurants and I order usually salads or grilled meals. I really enjoy this and I’m so happy about where am I right now.

What to watch 01

Hello My Lovely Readers!

Today I want to talk about one of my new absolute favorite TV show and that is the Stitchers. I’m in love with it.

The story is about a girl (named Kirsten) who start to work for a secret government agency. Her job is to connect into the mind of the recently deceased. She uses their memory to investigate murders.

The series launched in 2015 in the United States. The creator is Jeffrey Alan Schechter. This is a sc-fi, a drama and a crime story. The name characters are Emma Ishta, Kyle Harris, Ratesh Rajan, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Allison Scagliotti, Damon Dayoub. Now it is season 3 and I can’t wait to watch the next episode.

What is new?

Hello My Lovely Readers!

I was watching series when suddenly an idea came into my mind. I thought I will start a new “post series” named ‘What is new?’. I thought this would be a great thing to share with you. My new favourites or new things, shows, movies that I watch or new products that I use or anything new in my life. So let me know in the comment if you like the idea and now let’s start this.

  1. New series: Recently I started watching Gotham. This is a very similar to the series named ‘Arrow’ so if you liked that you will like this too.
  2. New shoes: This is very random but I thought why not to include my new favourite pair of booties. (I wear those in this post.)
  3. New lipstick: My very new fall lipstick is from Avon. I ordered it online and I absolutely love the color. Soon there will be a post on it.
  4. New beanie: Grey beanie. My fav. I wore it every single day. I love the look of it. Simple but cute. Sadly I did not find a photo where I wear it but I promise there will be soon. (With my short hair.:) If you didn’t see my post about my haircut you can check it here.)
  5. New nails: Here is a photo of them. Just a natural nude color with diamonds. But I love it.3599
  6. New recipe: Last weekend I tried a new recipe from a magazine. It was an apple pie recipe. It was very delicious. I was craving for apple pie so I had to do it.
  7. New music: Last week (I think) Fifth Harmony came out with a new song and I’m loving it. The tittle is That’s my girl. If you have not heard it yet you should check it out. And my fav since I first heard it is Mike Perry-Ocean drive.
  8. New movie in cinema: I watched the new Bridget Jones movie last Saturday. It was pretty good. I did not expected to be this good.
  9. New clothes: Finally I can wear my sweatshirts. I couldn’t wait this time of the year.
  10. New bag: My absolute favourite thing that I recently bought is this bag from Stradivarius. Here you can see photos.

Shopping Haul

Hello My Lovely Readers!

Today’s post is a little bit different. I did not do any post like this before so hope you guys will enjoy it and let’s get start it.

So in this post I will share 3 items of my last shopping that I did. This little shopping tour was seriously the tiniest tour that I’ve ever done. I don’t think that any of my shopping lasted this short. But it was a very successful trip. I bought two sweatshirts and a pair of shoes and I’m seriously love with those 3 things.

I love shopping this time of the year because the sales are awesome.

(If you see any blue in my hair that is because of the DIY Colored Hair that I did in my last post. If you havn’t seen yet than here is the link.)

Okay so the first item that I bought is this sweatshirt which I love. This is perfect for the upcoming fall and for the school. I bought this in Stradivarius. I tried to find the link to it but I think it sold out so I couldn’t find it. I think this is a European shop but if it isn’t than please let me know in the comment because I’m curious about it. Anyways the sweatshirt has a blue and greyish color. I can’t wait to wear this outside. So here are a few photo of this.

The second sweatshirt that I bought is from Stradivarius again. This has blue color too because you know how much I love that color. I don’t know what else to say about it so here are the pics.

And the third item is from H&M. This is one of the cutest pair of shoes that I’ve ever owned. This is a white shoes so I don’t know how long will it last because sadly it doesn’t matter how much I’mtrying to keep it clean I don’t know how but it is always get dirty. Anyways it has flower print on it and it is so cute. So here are some photo of that.

Get The Look-Lucy Hale

Hello My Lovely Readers!

In today’s post I will share something new. Something which I never did before but I found it so much fun making it. So hope you will enjoy it!

Okay so this post is about Get The Look and for this post I got inspiration from Lucy Hale. I search for some photos on her Instagram and on Pinterest. I chose three photo and I thought I will recreate those outfits. So let’s start this!

Okay the first photo is this one.

She is wearing a romper and a denim jacket with a pair of black heels. And don’t forget about the sunglasses.

To recreate this outfit I wore a romper in the same color (at least I think that is the same color) from H&M with a denim jacket. Unfortunately I don’t know where I bought it. I wore a pair of black heels too but mine has a little bit different style. And I added a  sunglasses too. Here is how it turned out.

While we were taking photos one of my kitty climbed on me. I love him so much!

Okay the second photo that I picked is from Instagram too. This is a more casual outfit, this is great for workout clothes.She wore a graphic t_shirt with a pair of leggings and a sweatshirt. Here it is the original photo.

I found a pizza patterned T-shirt in my closet I pair with a simple pair of leggings and with a sweatshirt. Here it is how it turned out.

And the third photo that I found on Pinterest is just a simple everyday outfit with a simple pair of jeans and a white off the shoulders blouse with booties. Here is the picture and how I recreated it.

DIY Colored Hair

Hello My Lovely Readers!

Today’s post is all about hair and beauty and COLORS.

I wanted colored hair for a very long time. But my mom doesn’t let me to do that so I have to figure out something else. I was on Pinterest and I thought why not to try this one. And after it came into my mind that why not to document it and share my experiences with you. So here it is.

First you will need chalk (I used artist chalk because I had that in my house but you can use real hair chalk)…

…and water. And that is all.

The first step: Grab a section of hair and brush it out.

Second step: Water it. I used a spray bottle for this step but you can do it simply with your hands.

Third step: Grab a piece of chalk and pull down on your hair.

Than do as many section as you want.

I warn you that this can be very messy!

Fourth step: If you want you can use a curling iron or straightener to make the color long-lasting. And if you want that the colors stay for even longer time then use a hairspray on your hair before or after the heat. ( I’m afraid of using it before the iron but that is the best thing that you can do for the long-lasting color.)

I brushed it out and this is how it looks. (The pictures are not the best quality and I don’t know why. Maybe because of the effect that I used. I’m sorry for that.)

I think this is a great method to create something new and play with your appearance. But if you want a long-lasting color (for several weeks) than this is not what you are searching for. This is good for one or two day fun. At least I experienced that. Maybe because I did not use hairspray. After I did it I braided my hair and half of the color stayed on my hands. So if you have any suggestions to avoid that than please leave a comment because I’m so curious.

12 things you can do alone

Hello My Lovely Readers!:)

Summer is all about hanging with friends and having parties, but sometimes you find yourself alone? Then this post is for you. I collected 12 things you can do alone and most of these are free so you don’t have to pay money for it which is awesome. So let’s start this.

  1. Movies-First and obvious thing is of course watch a movie or start a series. Recently I started to watch films every day and it is a great time to relax and write a to do list or collect ideas to blog post. If you are enough brave you can go to the cinema and watch a film alone. I want to try it for a long time because it would be fun and a different experience. And if you are a little bit “afraid” than you can go early in the morning.;)
  2. Youtube workout-I discovered recently that how much fun is this actually. I like to do yoga classes but nowadays I did a few zumba and dance workout and it was so amusing and great because I didn’t have to go out of the house. And if you are like me than this is a big plus (#lazy). And on the top you don’t have to do embarrassing moves in front of other people because let’s be real not everybody can dance like a pro and sometimes if you are trying to copy the teacher than your moves are something completely different from it have to. This is not a problem but I’m sure that there is someone who is afraid of going dance lessons because of that and this is a perfect alternative for that. +And if you want to go out you can go to classes (box, yoga, etc…) or for example I love to go horse riding and it is a great workout and you are in the fresh air and that is always a plus.
  3. Blog/Youtube-This is a bigthing nowadays. Everyone is on their phone and laptop. People do videos and make blog posts. If you have creativity and you want to share your thoughts or things you passion it about this is a great and useful hobby. But recently this whole Internet thing became jobs to a lot of people. If you are hardworking than this could be a really good source to make money. So good luck!
  4. Photography-This is also became a big thing and everyone takes photos.  I’m not saying that you will be famous or anything but it is great for a hobby again and you may become a popular photographer or insagrammer or you will have a popular photography blog. Who knows?! But if it is just a hobby than go ahead and do it! Nowadays you can even take photos of you with the timer on your phone or anything.
  5. Shopping-Everybody loves shopping. But did you try it alone? It is so much fun! You don’t have to pay attention to anyone and you can stay there and change clothes as many time as you want.
  6. Cooking-It’s summer and it’s time to experiment new recipes and make meals to yourself.
  7. Book store-If you alone and you love books and reading than this is the perfect thing that you can do. You can sit there as long as you want and read into a million book or you can start or finish one if you want and that is sure that no one will disturbs you.
  8. Bicycle/Hike/Walking-This is the perfect activity to relax and be alone. There isn’t a thing that is better than when you are walking and listening the sound of the nature. I highly recommend this activity if you love observing the nature and immerse in your thoughts.
  9. Pinterest-When you spend 2 hours without realising that even a few minutes passed. I don’t have to say anything else. This is my guilty pleasure.
  10. Restaurant-Okay this is a big thing and I admit that I havn’t done that. Yet. But I think that can be a great ideas to spend time with your fav book or with your journal or even your blog. If you don’t have the courage (which I completely understand) to go to a fancy restaurant and eat alone than you can jump int to a cafe and drink something or have a cookie.
  11. Classes-You can sign up for classes like yoga or for a class that teaches you how to fight and to self defense or seriously for anything. There is so many classes now and I think you can find one that you like.
  12. Plant-Raise a flower or cactuses. This is fun.(and you can take cute photos of those)

Wedding dress inspiration

Hello my lovely readers! 🙂

So today I wanted to post some beautiful wedding dress photos because I’m obsessed with wedding since I first saw a movie with wedding theme. I’m falling love with the flowers and the dresses and of course the decoration and all of the gorgeous thing. I’m 16 years old but I’m already know what kind of wedding I want. 😀 I hope one day all of my plan will be come true and not only will be a dream. My favourite waffles recipe!

Hello my lovely readers! 🙂

So today like you can see I make a post about food. This is my first recipe post ever but I want to share with you this because I think this is the best waffles recipe ever! You have to try it! So let’s get start it!

First the ingredients:42227-Fruit-Waffles

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 34 cup milk
  • 12 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 14 tsp salt
  • 12 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Preheat a waffle iron. Beat eggs in a large bowl with a hand mixer until fluffy. Beat in flour, milk, vegetable oil, sugar, baking powder, salt and vanilla extract just until smooth.
  2. Spray preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Cook until golden brown.

So this was the recipe and I’m not shure that everybody will like it because this mixture is really thick but for me this is perfect! 🙂 I usually eat these waffles with fruit and nutella or when I’m cooking I put chocolate chips or sprinkles into the mixture! 🙂 If you tried it let me know in the comments! 🙂

Shoes inspiration

Hey lovelies!!

I want to do a hair inspiration and a shoes inspiration post too but my last post was about hair so I decided that I will do the shoes post.

Recently I really obsessed with the high heel shoes but I don’t have as many as I want. YET. But I know I will sooo many heels! And if I could wear high heels every day I’d do it! But I go to high school and there I don’t like to wear high heels. Okay the first day of the school I’m going to wear heels because why not…? But everyday unfortunately I can’t wear them.

And of course I can’t forget the floral pattern shoes! I have skirts, dresses and shirts with this pattern but I don’t have shoes. Oh I almost forget I have a sneakers with floral pattern!!
